OUR HISTORY

By November 1, 1946, World War II had ended. There was great hope for a more peaceful world, one which beckoned travelers intent on exploring its wonders and opportunities. The dawn of the modern Age of Travel was at hand.

On this day, Chattanooga businessmen Hal Millard Hall and two other colleagues incorporated Tennessee Valley Tourist Agency, Inc., and thereby launched our company's mission to capably and consistently help our clients in their worldwide travels for business and pleasure. On July 1, 1977, the leadership baton of Tennessee Valley Travel Agency passed to L. West Oehmig, Jr. and the Oehmig family concern of LWK Corporation. Though so much change has taken place over the past fifty years, the pace is still quickening with new ways of obtaining information and conducting business.

We were established with a mission to provide our clients with high value and service. This vision is as clear today as it was at our founding. Methods may change, but the mission remains the same. Our objective is clear and simple: We are here to create long term client relationships.
